Kara is a Colorado native, the only one in her immediate family of all New Yorkers. She got into the world of theatre through costuming as she has been sewing since she was nine, but found a passion for acting in her middle school productions. She is also an avid writer, pursuing a creative writing degree in conjunction with her acting BFA. She prefers poetry above anything but does love playwriting and flash fiction. She is a lover of words and deeply values connecting with people, which has luckily lead her to the world of storytelling through performance.
