Lou Abecassis (they/she) is a French person in an American world. Having moved back and forth between Europe and America throughout their life, they finally settled in Boulder for the duration of their college degree. After 4 years of hard work pursuing their two passions, they will be graduating with a BM in Musical Theatre and a BA in Psychology, and with a lengthy honors thesis under their belt. Growing up surrounded by so many international communities created a profound love for people - in all their intricacies and complexities - which resonates throughout Lou’s work both in the arts and in the sciences. Their favorite past roles include Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone, Marta in Company, and Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Outside of work and theatre, Lou enjoys writing their own poetry and the occasional short story for which they’ve won several awards, leeching affection from their partner’s dog, and discovering new horror podcasts.
