Claudia Ellis is a southern-born actor, singer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.  Inspired by the sounds of the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains, Claudia has found joy incorporating elements of her southern roots into her work as an actor and musician.  She describes her journey in the performing arts as a three-way road that has slowly intersected over the course of her life consisting of music, acting, and ballet.  By the age of 3, Claudia began teaching herself to read music and play piano.  This made her quite the party trick at social gatherings, especially with her grandmother, though she was too shy to realize she enjoyed performing.  She has now taught herself to play 13 instruments (and counting)!  Claudia also spent 10 years learning classical ballet at the Montgomery Ballet and the Alabama Dance Theatre and participating in and watching shows at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival where her mother was the wardrobe supervisor for many years.  With her warm southern charm and surprisingly big voice, Claudia has grown into a versatile performer that is eager for the opportunity to explore a variety of roles.
