Sarah is a multifaceted theatre artist who accredits her love of theatre to growing up in the Chicagoland area. Throughout her time at the University of Colorado Boulder, she has explored the ways her multiple disciplines of study intersect, as she will soon graduate with a BFA in Acting, a BA in Sociology, and a minor in Political Science. While at CU, she acted in a multitude of plays and films and directed a full-length devised piece called on Display. She is also a writer who has worked with Curious Theatre Company in Denver and has had plays produced through the CU New Play Festival. Outside of the arts, you can find her working at a local sandwich shop, making other people drive her through the mountains, and perfectly curating her collection of denim jackets - which has earned her her BFA cohort nickname Sarah ‘JJ’ (jean jacket) Powers.
